Junior Account Manager

An opportunity has arisen to join one of Workhouses vibrant and busy account teams in a junior role working with some of our biggest clients in the B2B manufacturing, wholesale and trade sectors. This role will involve working as part of the team responsible for clients such as Crown Paints, Hempel, Walker Fire, Oakmed and other great accounts.

Workhouse Marketing is an agency now in its third decade with an enviable client list. Approaching 40 people, we work in an amazing setting in the beautiful Ribble Valley countryside and are a sociable group who enjoy each others company, often indulging in nights out, work outings, BBQs, yoga or even a bit of rock climbing after work – Have a look at our Facebook page to see what we’ve been up to recently!

What we’re looking for

Above all else, you will be a proactive and hardworking individual that’s keen to learn to new things and advance your understanding of marketing. Candidates should have 2+ years experience within the marketing industry. An agency background would be an advantage, but not entirely necessary. Demonstrating a passion for developing and understanding digital marketing skills would be a benefit to anyone who applies.

A degree or equivalent qualifications is NOT a requirement to be considered for this job as long as you have relevant experience. We’re looking for attitude and work ethic above all else to join our existing set of grafters. We can teach skills, but we can’t teach those traits.    

Main responsibilities

To assist Account Director and Senior Account Managers with the day to day management of their key accounts which include amongst other things:

  • Ensuring the highest level of accuracy on all jobs
  • Undertaking various administrative duties involved with running accounts
  • Building relationships with clients you work with
  • Dealing with day to day enquiries
  • Ensuring work progresses through studio when necessary
  • Attending client meetings with Senior Account Managers
  • Proof checking work from studio
  • Providing clear briefs to studio for various jobs
  • Ensuring deadlines are met
