Account Executive (Graduate Role)

An opportunity has arisen to join one of Workhouse’s vibrant and busy account teams in an executive role working with some of our biggest clients in the B2B manufacturing, wholesale and trade sectors. This role will involve working as part of the team responsible for clients such as Crown Paints, Sandtex, Hempel, Oakmed and other great accounts.

Workhouse Marketing is an agency now in its third decade with an enviable client list. With over 40 people, we work in an amazing setting in the beautiful Ribble Valley countryside and are a sociable group who enjoy each other’s company, often indulging in nights out, work outings, BBQs, yoga or even a bit of rock climbing after work! What we’re looking for…

Above all else, you will be a proactive, hardworking and enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn new things and advance your understanding of marketing and digital. This job would suit a graduate with a marketing degree or CIM qualification, those with no qualification but relevant experience in its place will also be considered.

Demonstrating a passion for developing and understanding digital marketing skills would be a benefit to anyone who applies.

We’re looking for attitude and work ethic above all else to join our existing team of self-starters. We can teach skills, but we can’t teach those traits!

You will also need to hold a full UK driving license.

Main responsibilities

To assist Account Director and Senior Account Managers with the day to day management of their key accounts which include amongst other things:

  • Ensuring the highest level of accuracy on all jobs
  • Undertaking various administrative duties involved with running accounts
  • Building relationships with clients you work with
  • Dealing with day to day enquiries
  • Ensuring work progresses through studio when necessary
  • Attending client meetings with Senior Account Managers and Account Director
  • Proof checking work from studio
  • Providing clear briefs to studio for various jobs
  • Ensuring deadlines are met
