Holmes Mill is a stunningly restored former textile mill in the heart of the Ribble Valley, a drink and leisure hub that’s also home to Bowland Brewery. We were involved in the project from the very beginning to get a feel for the project before renovations even began.
Our first mission was to develop a brand identity for Holmes Mill that suited its rustic appeal and would translate well across multiple mediums, both online and offline.
We designed and developed the website of Holmes Mill to be in-keeping with the developed brand identity.
As part of our work with Holmes Mill (and Bowland Brewery) we produced bespoke illustrations for both.
We spent a lot of time ensuring that we fully understood the project and what was required before the renovations had even begun. We toured the empty mill, which was important as the brand needed to capture the rustic spirit it embodied.
Our creative team set to work developing logo options, colour schemes, choosing fonts and creating bespoke illustrations. We made sure we kept the client involved throughout the process to make sure their opinion was taken into account when we presented the final options from which they chose their favourite.
