Following a successful application and subsequent interview, Workhouse are over the moon to have been shortlisted as finalists for the prestigious BIBAs Awards, under the category ‘Creative Business of the Year’. It’s our second award nomination of the year after narrowly missing out on retaining our Red Rose Awards title.
The two-part process saw us complete a detailed written application outlining the many aspects of our business that make us one of the most creative around. After that, we were invited to Blackpool to attend a 30-minute interview in front of a panel of judges where the team were quizzed by experts from different sectors. The final stage will see those very same judges visit us on-site at Workhouse HQ to have a look around and speak to the staff and get a feel for the business as a whole.
All that’s left to do then is wait until September 14th when we will head down to everyone’s favourite seaside town to attend the BIBAs ceremony at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. A great opportunity in itself to get to know other nominated businesses in the local area and hopefully walk away with another award for the mantlepiece. However, to do so we’ll have to stand out in a category that’s packed with great creative businesses!
