Leading DIY Wholesaler, Stax Trade Centres, wanted to replace their 200-page own brand catalogue with a series of 10 separate catalogues, that could be updated regularly due to seasonal content and range reviews.
Workhouse was approached to provide a solution to carry the new format catalogue.
The solution had to be cost effective, simple, modern, undated, with a strong shelf presence, had to be neutral enough not to clash with the contents and in the future suitable to carry brochures for more than one brand.
The solution was ‘The Big Green Book’ – a sturdy 4 ring laminated binder with tabbed dividers. The fresh modern design, using script styled graphics and line drawings was slightly quirky and was designed primarily in two colours to reduce print costs. The finished folder is easy to use and the name ‘The Big Green Book’ – synonymous with Stax – is now well known with staff and customers alike.
