			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Launched in the UK in January 2012, ZeroPlus is a brand new product from Wienerberger, the world&#8217;s largest brick manufacturer.  The product, a new mortar designed to work at temperatures from 0°C and rising, has been designed to work exclusively with the Porotherm Clay Block walling system to provide the same benefits of a fast, clean build, but in colder weather.</p>
<p>Working closely with Wienerberger UK, Workhouse developed several concepts for the marketing of ZeroPlus.  &#8216;Cold and Fast&#8217; has been chosen for the initial launch, with other concepts being retained for campaign development later in 2012. </p>
<p>Account Managed by Kim Cooper, Workhouse created and produced the ZeroPlus logo, website pages, full page adverts,  technical data sheets, cement bag labels and commissioned branded thermal mugs to launch the campaign.</p>
<p>In order to depict the concept, the image of the polar bears, tower and builder was subject to a massive retouch, and the location photography used on the website and data sheets has been shot by our photographer, Andrew Woodhouse.</p>

Commissioned by Crown paints, Workhouse updated the Crown Trade marketing materials to bring them into line with the new corporate branding.</p>
<p>To ensure the change was reflected across all their publications many had to be re-designed. The Steracryl brochure is just one example of design work by Creative Designer, James Hogg. </p>
<p>Workhouse are responsible for creative work on many of the Trade campaigns, adapting the ‘personal’ message to work for a Trade dominated audience.</p>
<p>Account managed by Kim Cooper, we have a long standing relationship with Crown paints and they have been one of our clients for 10 years.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In early November 2011, Workhouse Photographer Andrew Woodhouse was asked to shoot the Forbes Compensation Culture conference in Manchester. </p>
<p>The event was well attended and a typical conference/event shoot which required shots of the speakers speaking at the lectern and shots of the guests.  </p>
<p>The location of the conference was spectacular – the Town Hall in Manchester. The room in which the conference took place had real character and such a sense of occasion, it was the perfect setting.  The guest of honour was The Right Honourable Jack Straw MP.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Once again we have produced our ‘no expense incurred’ Christmas Card video which we really enjoyed putting together with our usual passion!</p>
<p>Each and every year we strive to come up with an original idea for our Christmas video and this year was no exception&#8230;</p>
<p>The best bit about giving a Christmas present is seeing the reaction of the person you’re giving it to, this is especially the case when we do our office Secret Santa, and formed the concept for this years video.  </p>
<p>Digital Designer, Jamie Brown, has a huge passion for videography and volunteered himself to shoot and edit the video.  One by one as we opened our gifts Jamie filmed the reactions on our faces &#8211; there really was no hiding our true feelings!</p>
<p>The end product is a video displaying more emotions and feelings than we could have imagined; anticipation, disbelief, joy, shock, happiness, disappointment and in some cases relief!</p>
<p>We all had a great time filming the video and hope you enjoy it too, you can see it here.</p>

<p>Working in partnership with Stax&#8217;s experienced developers, Workhouse planned and designed a 3 phase project to build a new e-commerce website with vastly improved navigation and functionality. With Phase 1 now complete, Phase 2 will take the capabilities of the site to the next level with integrated sales tools and behavioural triggers based on customer behaviour.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In 2011 Ceramic Prints launched a new range of kitchen splashbacks, but it has to be said that these are not just any splashbacks, they are the ultimate in designer kitchen splashbacks and the perfect finishing touch for any kitchen!  </p>
<p>As one of our existing clients, Ceramic Prints commissioned Workhouse to create a 16 page brochure which was designed by our Studio Manager, Graham Slater. Graham also planned and was involved in the styling, lighting, props and build of the various room sets in our photography studio.</p>
<p>Incorporating room set photography as well as photographs of all the individual splashbacks, the entire brochure was shot by our very own Andrew Woodhouse. Andrew was also responsible for all the post-production editing and re-touching.</p>
<p>We’re extremely pleased to say the brochure was very successful, generating a lot of sales and interest from a number of big high street names. </p>
<p>In addition to the brochure, Workhouse also produced a teaser ad campaign and all the point of sale displays. You can take a look at the brochure here.</p>
