When leading UK wholesaler Stax Trade Centres plc. bought Scottish based delivered wholesaler, DF Wishart, one of the first projects Stax tasked us with was getting their e-commerce website up to date. The original Wishart website was not only technologically outdated, but lacked an aesthetically pleasing appearance and usability Stax customers were familiar with.
It was essential that the new website was designed to sell effectively as well as support, engage and inform Wishart customers.& nurture existing ones.
The Solution
Working alongside Stax’ experienced web developer, Workhouse planned and produced a new e-commerce website design that would fulfill the core objectives and be geared up for online wholesale trading. The new website now offers a comprehensive e-commerce facility with quick order functionality designed for retailers buying in such vast quantities. With trade prices hidden behind a secure login, the functionality and usability of the website is also greatly improved much to the delight of WIshart’s customers.
