After the success of the Intercontinental Rally Championship Yearbook for Global TV company Eurosport, Workhouse was asked by their media partners Mediatica to produce a similar ‘coffee table’ hard backed book to review the 2012 World Touring Car Championship (WTCC).

The brief was to produce concepts to launch a range of nine new bricks from Wienerberger UK’s Todhills brickworks. The chosen creative to work across a range of promotional materials.

Wedding Brochure Design: Mitton Hall

Mitton Hall, one of our existing clients within the James’ Places portfolio, commissioned Workhouse to produce a wedding brochure design with a brand new look and style. As one of the North West’s premier wedding venues, the brochure had to reflect the romanticism and splendour of Mitton Hall. The practicalities also had to be considered, the shelf life of the wedding brochure had to be fairly substantial and it also had to provide the consumer with all the information they could need.

For the 2011-12 report we were challenged to produce a fresh new design to reflect the content and incorporate the personality of Crown Paints’ ‘It’s not just paint. It’s personal.’ mantra.

Everybody is a resource centre for young people aged 14-24 in Blackburn town centre. The centre offers a wide variety of confidential services supporting young people’s health and wellbeing. The centre was executing a marketing campaign for the grand opening and came to Workhouse for the supporting material.

The Police Authority are to be replace by Police and Crime Commissioners later this year. Our brief was to develop a distinctive brand, producing a concept and strap line which reflects this unique change in governance and is flexible to meet the needs of changing digital media. The brand has to communicate a sense of excitement, making it distinctive for Lancashire at a local, regional and national level. The brand has to reach 3 distinct audiences: young people voting for the first time, the general public and potential PCC candidates.
